Presenter: Dan Bigman

Dan Bigman is the president of Bigman Geophysical, a company that provides applied geophysical and non-destructive testing solutions to engineers, contractors, utilities, municipalities, and government agencies. Dan received his PhD from the University of Georgia and is an expert in non-invasive subsurface mapping and 3D imaging. His projects have focused on the application of geophysics and non-destructive testing to archaeological, forensic, civil, and structural engineering problems including condition assessments of critical infrastructure such as nuclear facilities, bridges, hydroelectric dams, and industrial storage and processing facilities. The results of this work have been published in the scientific journals Water, Remote Sensing, and Case Studies in Construction Materials. Dan has conducted geophysical investigations, structural inspections, and technical workshops across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, and is currently an associate editor for the Journal of Environmental and Engineering Geophysics.
